Biography:

Dr. Nathan Borgfeld is a Primary Care Physician at Kaiser Family Practice, seeing patients across the spectrum from infants to geriatrics. Dr. Borgfeld comes to Karnes County from his Family Medicine residency program at UT Health Northeast in Tyler, Texas where he worked in a variety of clinical environments including Outpatient, Inpatient ICU and Emergency Medicine. He is a Goliad, Texas native and was excited to be moving back to the South Texas area to practice medicine where he grew up. He is a graduate of Goliad High School, UT Pan American, and received his Medical Degree from UTMB Galveston. Dr. Borgfeld enjoys practicing medicine in a small community, knowing there is a shortage of Physicians in our area and realizing that not many Physicians come back to their small towns once they graduate. Nathan is married to his high school classmate Debra, and they are currently building a home in Stockdale, planning to be in our local area for many years to come. He looks forward to being trailblazer in something new and watching our clinic grow into something special.
